I now have a h/u that will run any app that runs on android op system. Googles downloaded maps for off road are useless. Other than Google maps or Waze, AA has nothing of interest (to me that is I don't need music apps) as Google refuses to allow other third party apps to run so you can get off road or other mapping. If you aren't in phone signal (this happens still in many areas in Sydney for example) Google maps ceases to function. It annoyed me no end having to plug in the phone and put it in the glove box to use AA. The contrast on the OEM h/u when running google maps on AA is so poor its very hard to read.
